Ils sont avec J\u00e9sus. Ils marchent \u00e0 sa suite. Ils ont entendu son enseignement, Ils sont t\u00e9moins de ses gestes, ils partagent sa vie. Et pourtant, au milieu de leur chemin avec lui, une pr\u00e9occupation demeure : <strong>qui est le plus grand ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Que cherchent-ils vraiment ? Peut-\u00eatre une place privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e, la reconnaissance, les honneurs la consid\u00e9ration, le sentiment d&#8217;avoir plus de valeur que les autres.Ils veulent savoir qui compte davantage. <strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Et moi, quelle place est-ce que je cherche \u00e0 occuper ? Ai-je besoin d&#8217;\u00eatre reconnu pour ce que je fais ? D&#8217;\u00eatre remerci\u00e9 (e) ? &nbsp;Est-ce que je souffre lorsque quelqu&#8217;un d&#8217;autre re\u00e7oit l&#8217;attention que j&#8217;esp\u00e9rais ? Nous voulons que nos efforts soient remarqu\u00e9s. Nous voulons parfois \u00eatre au premier rang, avoir raison, \u00eatre celui ou celle dont on reconna\u00eet le m\u00e9rite. Et lorsque cette reconnaissance ne vient pas, quelque chose se passe en nous&nbsp;: de la frustration ? de la tristesse ? de la jalousie ? Un sentiment d&#8217;injustice ? Une envie de me retirer ? Prendre le temps de regarder honn\u00eatement ce qui se passe en moi. &nbsp;Non pour me condamner. Mais pour me conna\u00eetre davantage sous le regard de J\u00e9sus aimant de Dieu. J\u00e9sus ne me juge pas : il regarde plus profond\u00e9ment ce qui me touche dans cette sc\u00e8ne. Il conna\u00eet mon besoin de reconnaissance. Il conna\u00eet ce qui me blesse lorsque je ne suis pas valoris\u00e9 (e).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il conna\u00eet mes comparaisons, mes attentes, mes frustrations. Il conna\u00eet m\u00eame les pens\u00e9es que je ne voudrais pas montrer aux autres. Et pourtant, son regard demeure un regard qui accueille. Je peux alors me tenir devant lui tel que je suis.&nbsp; Je peux simplement demeurer l\u00e0. Me laisser regarder. \u00c9couter ce qui se passe int\u00e9rieurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Derri\u00e8re le d\u00e9sir d&#8217;\u00eatre le plus grand, Peut-\u00eatre qu&#8217;il y a parfois, derri\u00e8re notre besoin de reconnaissance, une question beaucoup plus profonde : Est-ce que je compte ? Est-ce que j&#8217;ai de la valeur ? Est-ce que je suis aim\u00e9 (e) si personne ne me remarque ? Est-ce que j&#8217;ai ma place lorsque je ne r\u00e9ussis pas ? Nous cherchons parfois \u00e0 \u00eatre valoris\u00e9s parce que nous esp\u00e9rons trouver dans le regard des autres une confirmation de notre propre valeur. Alors les honneurs deviennent importants. La r\u00e9ussite devient importante. La place que nous occupons devient importante. Et lorsque cette reconnaissance nous \u00e9chappe, nous pouvons ressentir une douleur qui para\u00eet parfois disproportionn\u00e9e par rapport \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contempler l\u2019enfant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab<strong>&nbsp;J\u00e9sus prend alors un enfant et le place aupr\u00e8s de lui&nbsp;\u00bb<\/strong>. Je m\u2019arr\u00eate devant cette sc\u00e8ne et je contemple cet enfant que J\u00e9sus choisit comme exemple pour ses disciples. Ils se demandaient qui \u00e9tait le plus grand. J\u00e9sus, lui, leur montre un enfant. Il les invite ainsi \u00e0 changer de regard, \u00e0 passer d\u2019une logique de comparaison et de recherche de grandeur \u00e0 une logique d\u2019accueil, d\u2019humilit\u00e9 et de service. Moi aussi, je peux me laisser enseigner par cette image. Qu\u2019est-ce que J\u00e9sus veut faire na\u00eetre en moi en me donnant cet enfant \u00e0 contempler ? Peut-\u00eatre m\u2019invite-t-il \u00e0 ne plus chercher \u00e0 \u00eatre au-dessus des autres, mais \u00e0 leur faire une place ; \u00e0 ne plus chercher seulement \u00e0 \u00eatre reconnu, mais \u00e0 apprendre \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre ; \u00e0 ne plus vouloir \u00eatre servi, mais \u00e0 devenir disponible pour servir. L\u2019enfant devient ainsi pour moi \u00ab&nbsp;un chemin&nbsp;\u00bb : J\u00e9sus m\u2019invite \u00e0 passer \u00e0 une autre \u00e9tape de ma vie humaine et spirituelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Demande de gr\u00e2ce<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seigneur J\u00e9sus, donne-moi la gr\u00e2ce de me laisser d\u00e9placer par ton regard. Lib\u00e8re-moi du besoin d\u2019\u00eatre la plus grande, la plus reconnue, la plus importante. Apprends-moi l\u2019humilit\u00e9, l\u2019accueil et le service. Donne-moi de faire une place \u00e0 l\u2019autre et de d\u00e9couvrir que la v\u00e9ritable grandeur consiste \u00e0 aimer comme toi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>S.
