Batterie \u00e0 plat, sans doute. J&#8217;appelle le d\u00e9pannage et j&#8217;attends sous un beau soleil, une heure, puis deux heures, puis presque trois&#8230; Ma patience, mise \u00e0 rude \u00e9preuve, c\u00e8de peu \u00e0 peu la place \u00e0 autre chose : le temps s&#8217;ouvre, et il n&#8217;y a plus rien \u00e0 faire sinon attendre et prier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arrive le garagiste \u2014 appelons-le Louis \u2014 \u00e0 bord de sa remorqueuse, l&#8217;air aussi sympathique que pr\u00e9occup\u00e9, son grand c\u0153ur d\u00e9j\u00e0 alourdi. Il me demande comment je vais, o\u00f9 je vais. Je lui r\u00e9ponds que je suis ravie de le voir enfin, et que je souhaite rentrer \u00e0 la maison, soulag\u00e9e que le petit dernier n&#8217;ait pas le ventre creux toute la journ\u00e9e. Il sourit devant mon souci maternel, devant le moteur qui ne tourne plus, devant ma vieille carcasse roulante dont je m&#8217;excuse presque, moi qui l&#8217;\u00e9tire tant bien que mal pour destiner la majeure partie des ressources gagn\u00e9es aux besoins de mes enfants. Combien en as-tu, me demande-t-il. Quatre, je r\u00e9ponds. Il hoche la t\u00eate et me dit doucement \u00ab je comprends \u00bb ; il m&#8217;apprend alors qu&#8217;il en a six : un d\u00e9ficient intellectuel s\u00e9v\u00e8re, deux autistes, un autre qui tra\u00eene du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la d\u00e9linquance \u2014 tous, dit-il simplement, sont des enfants qui pensent autrement parce qu&#8217;ils ont le c\u0153ur trop gros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les Douze, en ce jour d&#8217;\u00e9vangile, partent sans b\u00e2ton, sans sac, sans pain ni argent, d\u00e9pendants enti\u00e8rement des maisons qui voudront bien les recevoir (Lc 9, 3-4). Moi aussi, ce matin-l\u00e0, j&#8217;\u00e9tais immobilis\u00e9e, d\u00e9pendante d&#8217;un inconnu qui accepterait de venir \u00e0 mon secours. Et voici que l&#8217;envoy\u00e9, c&#8217;est Louis, sans qu&#8217;il le sache lui-m\u00eame \u2014 venu lui aussi les mains presque vides, sans autre bagage que sa remorqueuse et son c\u0153ur trop grand, toujours ouvert. Il me raconte, avec une esp\u00e9rance qui l&#8217;illumine, son projet de d\u00e9m\u00e9nager en r\u00e9gion, sur le bord du fleuve, pr\u00e8s des siens. Il part, lui aussi, presque sans bagage : il laisse derri\u00e8re une vie devenue trop \u00e9troite pour loger le c\u0153ur de ses enfants, il laisse tout ce qui pourrait le retenir pour ne garder que l&#8217;essentiel \u2014 l&#8217;amour qui esp\u00e8re un accueil qui ne manquera pas, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 enfin ses enfants trouveront ressources et consid\u00e9ration. Il me parle du vent dans leurs cheveux, du calme de la mer qui envahira sa famille, d&#8217;un horizon qui s&#8217;ouvre, immense, parce qu&#8217;un accueil gu\u00e9rissant les attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>On vit \u00e0 la mesure de son esp\u00e9rance<\/em>, \u00e9crit Christian Bobin (<em>L&#8217;Autre Visage<\/em>, 1991). Toute la sc\u00e8ne tient dans cette phrase. Louis n&#8217;a rien proclam\u00e9 au sens o\u00f9 on l&#8217;entend d&#8217;habitude ; il n&#8217;a pas cit\u00e9 un verset, il n&#8217;a pas pr\u00each\u00e9. Il a simplement dit ce qui le fait vivre, \u00e0 voix haute, devant une inconnue au bord de la route. N&#8217;est-ce pas d\u00e9j\u00e0 l&#8217;annonce de la Bonne Nouvelle telle que J\u00e9sus l&#8217;envoie porter aux Douze (Lc 9, 2), non pas un discours mais une vie donn\u00e9e \u00e0 voir, une esp\u00e9rance qui se dit parce qu&#8217;elle d\u00e9borde, met en marche, et dont l&#8217;horizon dessine un Royaume ? Louis m&#8217;accueille en m&#8217;ouvrant sa vie, librement, gratuitement. Et en s&#8217;ouvrant, il annonce, sans le savoir, que le r\u00e8gne de Dieu se fait tout proche. Aussi proche qu&#8217;un fleuve esp\u00e9r\u00e9, aussi proche que le c\u0153ur trop grand d&#8217;un enfant diff\u00e9rent dont le P\u00e8re refuse qu&#8217;il se referme sur lui-m\u00eame. Le c\u0153ur gros d&#8217;un p\u00e8re que le P\u00e8re console, offrant esp\u00e9rance et horizon, offrant accueil et gu\u00e9rison. Et je contemple, dans ce d\u00e9tour de conversation au bord d&#8217;un stationnement d&#8217;\u00e9cole, le P\u00e8re qui s&#8217;incarne dans ce p\u00e8re : soucieux pour ses enfants d\u00e9pendants et vuln\u00e9rables, comme Dieu l&#8217;est pour les siens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;accueil s&#8217;est renvers\u00e9 sous le capot : celui que j&#8217;attendais est devenu celui qui m&#8217;a accueillie. Comme les Douze envoy\u00e9s les mains vides, comme Louis qui part vers son fleuve sans bagage, comme mon petit dernier qui n&#8217;aura finalement pas le ventre creux, nous avancions tous vers une maison qui nous attendait sans le savoir.
