Nous avons chant\u00e9 des lamentations, et vous n\u2019avez pas pleur\u00e9 \u00bb (Lc 7, 31-35)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En ce temps-l\u00e0,<br>J\u00e9sus disait \u00e0 la foule&nbsp;:<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;\u00c0 qui donc vais-je comparer les gens de cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration&nbsp;?<br>\u00c0 qui ressemblent-ils&nbsp;?<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ils ressemblent \u00e0 des gamins assis sur la place,<br>qui s\u2019interpellent en disant&nbsp;:<br>\u201cNous avons jou\u00e9 de la fl\u00fbte,<br>et vous n\u2019avez pas dans\u00e9.<br>Nous avons chant\u00e9 des lamentations,<br>et vous n\u2019avez pas pleur\u00e9.\u201d<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Jean le Baptiste est venu, en effet&nbsp;;<br>il ne mange pas de pain, il ne boit pas de vin,<br>et vous dites&nbsp;: \u201cC\u2019est un poss\u00e9d\u00e9&nbsp;!\u201d<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Le Fils de l\u2019homme est venu&nbsp;;<br>il mange et il boit,<br>et vous dites&nbsp;: \u201cVoil\u00e0 un glouton et un ivrogne,<br>un ami des publicains et des p\u00e9cheurs.\u201d<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Mais, par tous ses enfants,<br>la sagesse de Dieu a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnue juste.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>M\u00e9ditation &#8211;<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong> Par tous ses enfants<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au chevet de ma m\u00e8re, cette semaine, je cherchais le bon ton. Elle, de sa voix des grands jours, m&#8217;assurait que tout allait bien, qu&#8217;elle n&#8217;avait besoin de rien \u2014 elle qui a toujours pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 la pudeur \u00e0 la plainte, m\u00eame convalescente. Alors je riais avec elle d&#8217;un souvenir, une phrase d&#8217;elle, cocasse, prononc\u00e9e vingt ans plus t\u00f4t ; puis je remarquais sa main, plus fine que dans mon souvenir, qu&#8217;elle retirait doucement d\u00e8s que je la retenais trop longtemps. Entre les deux, je ne trouvais pas tout \u00e0 fait le geste juste : ni la gaiet\u00e9 franche, ni le chagrin qu&#8217;elle ne m&#8217;autorisait pas \u00e0 d\u00e9ployer devant elle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;\u00e9vangile de ce jour conna\u00eet cette impasse mieux que moi : \u00ab Nous avons jou\u00e9 de la fl\u00fbte, et vous n&#8217;avez pas dans\u00e9. Nous avons chant\u00e9 des lamentations, et vous n&#8217;avez pas pleur\u00e9 \u00bb (Lc 7, 32). Jean venait dans le je\u00fbne, on le disait poss\u00e9d\u00e9 ; le Fils de l&#8217;homme venait dans le partage du pain, on le disait glouton. Aucune musique ne convient jamais \u00e0 qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9cid\u00e9, avant m\u00eame de l&#8217;entendre, de cet air qu&#8217;il refusera d&#8217;aimer. Aucune parole ne console tout \u00e0 fait celui qui a ferm\u00e9 d&#8217;avance l&#8217;oreille \u00e0 la consolation. Aucun silence, non plus, ne suffit \u00e0 celle qui exige qu&#8217;on parle \u00e0 sa place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je me suis replong\u00e9e dans Job, cette semaine, comme toujours quand la chambre d&#8217;h\u00f4pital se fait toute proche de la mienne. Les amis de Job savent, eux aussi, cette h\u00e9sitation entre la fl\u00fbte et la plainte : sept jours de silence assis dans la cendre, puis des discours qui ratent leur cible, trop savants, pour un corps et un Dieu qui ne demandaient qu&#8217;une pr\u00e9sence en v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Ailleurs, Christiane Singer racontait qu&#8217;on lui avait dit, un jour : \u00ab Le chemin de souffrance, il est \u00e0 toi, OK. Mais le chemin de connaissance, tu n&#8217;as pas d&#8217;autre choix que de le partager avec nous \u00bb<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>. Je ne sais pas encore ce que traverse ma m\u00e8re, ni ce qu&#8217;il m&#8217;appartient d&#8217;en taire. Je sais seulement que je ne suis, \u00e0 son chevet, ni la femme qui danse ni celle qui pleure au bon moment : je suis seulement sa fille, qui \u00e9crit malgr\u00e9 tout, pour partager ce peu qu&#8217;elle en comprend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et c&#8217;est peut-\u00eatre exactement l\u00e0 que la sagesse de Dieu se fait reconna\u00eetre juste : non par ceux qui ont r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 tout, mais \u00ab par tous ses enfants \u00bb (Lc 7, 35). Par l&#8217;enfant qui ne sait pas jouer la sc\u00e8ne qu&#8217;on attend d\u2019elle, et qui reste, simplement, pr\u00e9sente sans rien exiger. Par l&#8217;enfant qui respecte la pudeur de celle qui ne veut pas montrer sa vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9, sans pour autant cesser de l&#8217;aimer dans cette peine rendue muette. Par l&#8217;enfant que je demeure, chaque fois qu&#8217;une main plus grande que la mienne \u2014 celle de ma m\u00e8re hier, celle d&#8217;un Dieu toujours aujourd&#8217;hui \u2014 me rappelle que je n&#8217;ai jamais fini de na\u00eetre \u00e0 cette fragilit\u00e9 qui est aussi une confiance, m\u00eame quand elle refuse de se dire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je ne sais pas quand viendra, pour elle, le Grand matin de la gu\u00e9rison ou celui, plus grand encore, de la R\u00e9surrection.
