Mais quel malheur pour vous, les riches \u00bb (Lc 6, 20-26)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En ce temps-l\u00e0,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;J\u00e9sus, levant les yeux sur ses disciples, d\u00e9clara&nbsp;:<br>\u00ab&nbsp;Heureux, vous les pauvres,<br>car le royaume de Dieu est \u00e0 vous.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Heureux, vous qui avez faim maintenant,<br>car vous serez rassasi\u00e9s.<br>Heureux, vous qui pleurez maintenant,<br>car vous rirez.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Heureux \u00eates-vous quand les hommes vous ha\u00efssent<br>et vous excluent,<br>quand ils insultent et rejettent votre nom comme m\u00e9prisable,<br>\u00e0 cause du Fils de l\u2019homme.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ce jour-l\u00e0, r\u00e9jouissez-vous, tressaillez de joie,<br>car alors votre r\u00e9compense est grande dans le ciel&nbsp;;<br>c\u2019est ainsi, en effet, que leurs p\u00e8res traitaient les proph\u00e8tes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mais quel malheur pour vous, les riches,<br>car vous avez votre consolation&nbsp;!<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Quel malheur pour vous qui \u00eates repus maintenant,<br>car vous aurez faim&nbsp;!<br>Quel malheur pour vous qui riez maintenant,<br>car vous serez dans le deuil et vous pleurerez&nbsp;!<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Quel malheur pour vous<br>lorsque tous les hommes disent du bien de vous&nbsp;!<br>C\u2019est ainsi, en effet, que leurs p\u00e8res traitaient les faux proph\u00e8tes.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>M\u00e9ditation &#8211;<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong> L&#8217;aum\u00f4ne du sourire<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chaque mardi matin, sur le chemin du bureau, je croise cette femme sans abri install\u00e9e au coin de la rue o\u00f9 se pressent les affair\u00e9s, les occup\u00e9s pour ne pas devenir pauvres. Je ne sais pas son nom, je ne sais pas sa nuit, je ne sais pas jusqu&#8217;o\u00f9 l&#8217;a men\u00e9e sa vie pour qu&#8217;elle se retrouve l\u00e0, offerte au froid et au regard baiss\u00e9 des passants. Mais je sais son sourire. Un sourire qui m&#8217;attend, qui m&#8217;accueille, qui me devance parfois avant m\u00eame que je n&#8217;aie pu tourner les yeux vers elle. Elle qui n&#8217;a presque rien, elle me donne, chaque mardi matin, ce que je n&#8217;ai pas toujours \u00e0 lui offrir en retour : une joie sans calcul, un accueil sans condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Heureux, vous les pauvres, car le royaume de Dieu est \u00e0 vous<\/em> (Lc 6.20). L&#8217;\u00e9vangile de ce jour renverse tout ce que le monde tient pour vrai. Heureux les pauvres, heureux les affam\u00e9s, heureux ceux qui pleurent, heureux les m\u00e9pris\u00e9s : quatre fois heureux, quatre fois le Royaume qui bascule du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ceux qu&#8217;on ne regarde plus, qu\u2019on ne voit plus. Et devant chacun de ces heureux se dresse un malheur : malheur aux riches, malheur aux repus, malheur \u00e0 qui rit d\u00e9j\u00e0, malheur \u00e0 qui pla\u00eet \u00e0 tous. Comme si la joie v\u00e9ritable ne pouvait loger que l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il n&#8217;y a plus rien \u00e0 perdre. Comme si le Royaume ne s&#8217;annon\u00e7ait qu&#8217;\u00e0 ceux dont les mains sont assez vides pour le recevoir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette femme au coin de ma rue n&#8217;a peut-\u00eatre rien lu de Luc, elle n&#8217;a pas besoin d&#8217;ex\u00e9g\u00e8se pour vivre les b\u00e9atitudes, elle les incarne simplement, \u00e0 mains nues, dans le vent pluvieux de septembre. Son sourire n&#8217;est pas de la r\u00e9signation drap\u00e9e en vertu ni du courage forc\u00e9 pour faire bonne figure. Il est gratuit, non fard\u00e9, sans arri\u00e8re-pens\u00e9e, comme jaillissant d&#8217;un lieu que ma vie, encombr\u00e9e de mes conforts et de mes prudences, n&#8217;atteint plus si facilement. Elle a faim, et pourtant elle donne \u00e0 manger. Elle pleure peut-\u00eatre, la nuit, dans le carton et le froid, et pourtant elle rit, le matin, avec, et qui sait, pour moi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maurice Zundel aimait rappeler que la vraie pauvret\u00e9 n&#8217;est pas un manque mais une ouverture, un espace laiss\u00e9 libre pour que l&#8217;Autre puisse advenir en nous sans que nous cherchions \u00e0 le poss\u00e9der. Peut-\u00eatre est-ce cela que je re\u00e7ois chaque matin sans le nommer : l&#8217;espace qu&#8217;elle laisse libre en elle, faute d&#8217;avoir de quoi le combler, devient le lieu m\u00eame o\u00f9 passe la gr\u00e2ce. Elle n&#8217;a rien \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre, alors elle peut tout accueillir. Moi, j&#8217;ai tant \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre que j&#8217;ai peine \u00e0 accueillir quoi que ce soit qui ne me ressemble pas d\u00e9j\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Qui, entre nous deux, est la mendiante ? Qui, entre nous deux, tend la main la premi\u00e8re ? Je passe, press\u00e9e, vers un bureau o\u00f9 l&#8217;on m&#8217;attend, convaincue d&#8217;apporter quelque chose au monde ; elle demeure, immobile, convaincue de rien, et c&#8217;est pourtant elle qui me donne, chaque mardi matin, l&#8217;aum\u00f4ne d&#8217;un sourire que je n&#8217;ai pas m\u00e9rit\u00e9. Peut-\u00eatre le Royaume commence-t-il exactement l\u00e0, dans cet \u00e9change renvers\u00e9, dans cette aum\u00f4ne qui ne va pas dans le sens qu&#8217;on croit.
