Soyez comme des gens qui attendent leur ma\u00eetre \u00e0 son retour des noces, pour lui ouvrir d\u00e8s qu\u2019il arrivera et frappera \u00e0 la porte. Heureux ces serviteurs-l\u00e0 que le ma\u00eetre, \u00e0 son arriv\u00e9e, trouvera en train de veiller. Amen, je vous le dis : c\u2019est lui qui, la ceinture autour des reins, les fera prendre place \u00e0 table et passera pour les servir. On pourrait croire que J\u00e9sus nous demande de rester attach\u00e9 \u00e0 son service, car autrement nous ne pourrons pas \u00eatre heureux. \u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, on pourrait croire que nous devons \u00eatre continuellement \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre en train de poser des gestes de charit\u00e9 envers les autres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assur\u00e9ment, cela Lui ferait plaisir de constater que nous sommes \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre lorsqu\u2019Il viendra nous visiter. Mais, est-ce l\u00e0 tout ce que cette recommandation de J\u00e9sus nous dit ? D\u2019abord, elle est adress\u00e9e \u00e0 ses disciples, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire \u00e0 des gens qui ont tout abandonn\u00e9 ce qu\u2019ils avaient, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 laisser toutes les personnes qu\u2019ils ch\u00e9rissaient. Ils Lui ont jur\u00e9 fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 et l\u2019on suivit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Seigneur leur demande quelque chose de plus, c\u2019est de veiller et de demeurer vigilants lorsqu\u2019Il ne sera plus avec eux. Ils ne devront en aucun moment laisser le Mal entrer dans leur vie. Ils devront se souvenir qu\u2019ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 choisis pour Le repr\u00e9senter dans le monde. Ainsi, lorsqu\u2019on les regardera, ce sera Lui que l\u2019on verra. Lorsqu\u2019ils parleront, ce sera Lui qu\u2019on \u00e9coutera. Comme ils seront dor\u00e9navant son repr\u00e9sentant, ils devront donner l\u2019exemple en toutes occasions. On devrait voir d\u2019eux des traits qui caract\u00e9risent leur Ma\u00eetre, tel que&nbsp;: la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9, la justice, la mis\u00e9ricorde, la bienveillance, l\u2019humilit\u00e9, le d\u00e9tachement, la pi\u00e9t\u00e9, le respect, et bien d\u2019autres, sans oublier l\u2019amour en tout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, le disciple est l\u2019intime du Ma\u00eetre. Il le conna\u00eet, il conna\u00eet sa Volont\u00e9 et il en tient compte dans toutes ses d\u00e9cisions. Et si dans certaines situations, il n\u2019arrive pas \u00e0 la d\u00e9celer, il demande l\u2019aide de l\u2019Esprit du Ma\u00eetre pour lui apporter son \u00e9clairage. Toutefois, il ne doit jamais se prendre pour Lui et agir \u00e0 sa place, mais plut\u00f4t s\u2019unir \u00e0 Lui pour toutes les \u0153uvres se rapportant \u00e0 son minist\u00e8re. Il doit \u00e9galement \u00e9viter de donner des conseils ou des directives qui risqueraient de priver la personne de la libert\u00e9 que Dieu Lui accorde, car le Seigneur en a fait sa mission sur terre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9ventuellement, c\u2019est le Ma\u00eetre qui passera les servir. Dans la mesure o\u00f9 leur c\u0153ur est disponible, Il leur donnera tout ce dont ils ont besoin pour \u0153uvrer \u00e0 sa suite. Il leur accordera les dons qu\u2019ils offriront \u00e0 leur tour. Il se fera pr\u00e9sent pour \u0153uvrer \u00e0 leur c\u00f4t\u00e9. Heureux serez-vous alors, si vous \u00eates pr\u00e9par\u00e9 \u00e0 accueillir le Seigneur, car \u0153uvrer \u00e0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s vous lie intimement \u00e0 Lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalement, par cette Parole J\u00e9sus nous dit de rester dans une attitude de purification de notre c\u0153ur et d\u2019accueillir son pardon pour tous les manquements que l\u2019on pourrait avoir. Il attend de nous qu\u2019on Lui confie notre d\u00e9sir d\u2019\u0153uvrer avec Lui pour la construction de la Nouvelle J\u00e9rusalem. Dans cette disposition, Il accordera tout ce que le disciple Lui demandera.
