Sachant cela, heureux \u00eates-vous, si vous le faites. Ce n\u2019est pas de vous tous que je parle. Moi, je sais quels sont ceux que j\u2019ai choisis, mais il faut que s\u2019accomplisse l\u2019\u00c9criture : Celui qui mange le pain avec moi m\u2019a frapp\u00e9 du talon. Je vous dis ces choses d\u00e8s maintenant, avant qu\u2019elles n\u2019arrivent ; ainsi, lorsqu\u2019elles arriveront, vous croirez que moi, JE SUIS. Au fil des ann\u00e9es, j\u2019ai m\u00e9dit\u00e9 longuement et affectueusement, le lavement des pieds. J\u2019y voyais divers appels tant\u00f4t \u00e0 travers le don de soi ou l\u2019amour du prochain, \u00e0 travers le leadership servant ou la maternit\u00e9 mis\u00e9ricordieuse, sans oublier la souffrance du serviteur ou encore l\u2019accueil agenouill\u00e9 de ce qui m\u2019est donn\u00e9 \u00e0 vivre. Or, le lavement des pieds est pass\u00e9, le Christ s\u2019est relev\u00e9, d\u00e9sormais ressuscit\u00e9. Le tablier aussi soigneusement pli\u00e9 que le linceul, laiss\u00e9 l\u00e0 pour t\u00e9moigner. Nous sommes dans l\u2019<em>apr\u00e8s<\/em> qui nous pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 recevoir, de ce qui nous sera envoy\u00e9 pour nous rendre comme immacul\u00e9. Les pieds lav\u00e9s n\u2019\u00e9taient que le d\u00e9but de la puret\u00e9 de notre oui, recevoir Dieu comme l\u2019arriv\u00e9e d\u2019un grand matin au c\u0153ur d\u2019un quotidien parfois \u00e9teint. <em>Si quelqu\u2019un re\u00e7oit celui que j\u2019envoie, il me re\u00e7oit lui-m\u00eame; et celui qui me re\u00e7oit, re\u00e7oit Celui qui m\u2019a envoy\u00e9.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J\u2019\u00e9tais plut\u00f4t attentive \u00e0 l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 fonctionnelle, \u00eatre service et d\u00e9vouement, un genou \u00e0 terre, le bassin d\u2019eau ti\u00e8de \u00e0 mes c\u00f4t\u00e9s, je recevais une certaine joie de servir. Et pourtant, je n\u2019avais pas saisi que la joie re\u00e7ue ne provenait pas de mon souci plein d\u2019efforts, des courbatures de mon corps pench\u00e9, de mes mains tendues pour d\u00e9licatement prendre pied. La joie provenait de l\u2019eau vers\u00e9e par le lavement. Cette eau vive, ce Dieu d\u00e9sormais vivant ma vie qui d\u00e9borde de moi, de mes mains et du bassin \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s le lavement des pieds, nous sommes appel\u00e9s \u00e0 recevoir le vivant, l\u2019infini et l\u2019\u00e9ternit\u00e9 de l\u2019Amour vers\u00e9, n\u2019est-ce pas en nous qu\u2019il a mis tout son amour, dans son enti\u00e8ret\u00e9 ? Quelle immensit\u00e9 amoureuse et d\u00e9vers\u00e9e! La joie de la r\u00e9surrection c\u2019est recevoir cet Amour sans aucune capacit\u00e9 de le contenir, ni m\u00eame le retenir afin de verser Dieu. Ce n\u2019est pas tant la reconnaissance du geste ou du service prodigu\u00e9 que la communion du versement, cette eau vive qui lave et magnifie l\u2019autre, ce lavement des pieds qui nous rend \u00e0 nous-m\u00eames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Quiconque s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8vera sera abaiss\u00e9<\/em> (Mt 23.12) n\u2019est donc pas une menace mais l\u2019invitation \u00e0 une posture, s\u2019abaisser pour verser Dieu. Il n\u2019y a en effet ni lavement ni versement ni d\u00e9pouillement compatible avec le besoin de s\u2019\u00e9lever. Il ne s\u2019agit pas d\u2019arroser, d\u2019\u00e9clabousser et d\u2019\u00eatre appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 car le secret prend le relais sur l\u2019efficacit\u00e9, la joie succ\u00e8de \u00e0 la satisfaction et Dieu se verse, il ne se procure pas. Dans l\u2019esprit de P\u00e2ques et la saisie de ce Dieu vers\u00e9 en toute humilit\u00e9 sur nos fragilit\u00e9s en marche lorsque nous perdons pied, c\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019il nous rend \u00e0 nous-m\u00eames car l\u2019amour se suffit \u00e0 lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur mes pieds lav\u00e9s et ma souillure, par mes mains tendues et ma bonne volont\u00e9 p\u00e9trie de p\u00e9ch\u00e9s, Dieu se verse et se d\u00e9verse encore. L\u2019amour engendre sa propre joie \u00e0 travers moi et elle ne vient pas d\u2019ailleurs, un perp\u00e9tuel jeudi saint. La joie immacul\u00e9e et enracin\u00e9e ne vient ni de mon service ni de moi mais elle se communique \u00e0 travers toi. Nous sommes tous et toutes envoy\u00e9s les uns les autres pour communiquer la joie du Ressuscit\u00e9, pour verser ce Dieu, le vivre et se recevoir de lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barbara Martel &#8211;
